What is Portfolio Modeling?

Often executives have the need to present proposed portfolios to their directors. What happens if the directors ask for something that can't be done? What recourse is there for the executive?

If you have a full Implementation of Enterprise Project Management the answer is simple. Using the integrated tools, you could accurately predict just what resources and timeframe the proposed portfolio requires, nearly eliminating the possibility that you hastily over-promise and end up falling short.

Portfolio Modeling allows for the same impartiality of a full implementation solution, but doesn't require you to be integrated with the EPM2e system. Some companies aren't prepared for the full solution, and others require some time before they are fully using the system.

How does it work?
